Back to the Blogosphere (Hugh Hewitt prevails, for once)

After a lot more downtime than I anticipated when I took a hiatus last February, Hugh Hewitt has cajoled me into getting back to blogging. Hugh obviously missed the blogosphere's leading Hugh Hewitt hate site, and coming off the success of his anti-anti-Miers campaign, he was evidently feeling a little cocky. Must be a Big Ten thing.

OK, Hugh, you get to win one.

Make it two in a row, and root for Cal against USC this November 12th. The Golden Bears, of course, were the last team to beat Southern Cal.

BTW, I attended the KRLA "Talkfest" Townhall meeting featuring Hugh and fellow radio hosts Dennis Prager, Michael Medved, and Mike Gallagher a couple of weeks back. Quite a good time, and the face to face interaction between the audience and the hosts had the advantage of no commercial interruptions. I didn't see the Big Lizards, but a few were there. So was Torie.

Be sure and reply to Hugh's SCOTUS Poll on President Bush's nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito, Jr. to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Michelle Malkin has a vast round-up on the Alito nomination over here.
